The rapper made all of these revelation in an exclusive interview with Drum magazine, where he touched on his career, relationships and growth in the entertainment industry.
The rapper, who also is a model and Tv presenter, talked about the need to be diverse and not wanting to limit himself to being just a rapper, as a big motivation for leaving Dreamteam.
Sometime ago, his high profile relationship with Ayanda Thabethe came to an abrupt end, after having dated each other for two years. The quits caused a lot of surprises from circles around.
But luckily, Zulu Mkhathini has nothing but good words for his ex who he credits for his present success.
The entertainer hinted on reasons for the split with Drum magazine: “We just didn’t have time for each other and we drifted apart,”
He added on to say “Both of us were going through so many changes in our lives as individuals – career, personal life, so many things were happening all at once”
He wrapped it up by talking on major moves he would embark on, come 2020.
