It has been a little over a year since Nasty C announced his presence on the international stage with an appearance and freestyle on Sway in the Morning. Now, the SA Hip Hop prodigy has made a triumphant re-entry.
The Durban emcee is currently in New York to shoot the music video for “King” which featured American rapper, A$AP Ferg.
However, he’s had the opportunity to sit down with Grammy Awards winner, 50 Cent, as well as a couple performances.
However, having built a solid relationship with Sway on his initial appearance, Nasty C had a world of issues to address as he sat down for an interview.
Nasty C who is still out promoting his highly-successful “Strings and Bling” album had a lot to say including his rapping skills in Zulu as well as his collaboration with A$AP Ferg.
The “Bad Hair” rapper also talked about South African acts coming up including usual collaborator, Rowlene, who he just signed, Lastee and Tellaman.
Junior highlighted the unfortunate passing of ProKid and how the “Soweto” rapper influenced the industry as well as the growth of South African Hip Hop.
Nasty C had more and more issues to talk about including the “Gwara Gwara” dance as propagated by DJ Bongz, his relationship status, and several others. He would eventually get to perform the song – “SMA” – off his album and which featured Rowlene.
We can go on and on but we believe you better hear the whole story from the horse’s mouth.
