SA Hip Hop mogul, DJ Sbu has come under heavy fire and attack by the Twitter community with the accusation of trying to steal the spotlight at the memorial service for departed American rapper, Nipsey Hussle.
The Grammy nominee whose real name was Ermias Asghedom was shot dead on Sunday, 31st March, 2019 in the parking lot of his Marathon Clothing store, in South Los Angeles.
As tributes continue to pour in from heavyweights and fans from across the world, DJ Sbu also took the opportunity to join in the mourning of one departed Hip Hop sensation.
To this length and extents, the Mofaya Boss who was already in the United States shared images and videos of himself at the Crenshaw neighborhood of the late rapper.
In fact, he seemed to go the extra mile as he claimed to be the representative of the African continent, having been inspired by Nipsey Hussle’s work, life and times.
Many fans on the streets of Twitter were less than impressed though as they felt DJ Sbu was out to promote his own agenda and wouldn’t be surprised if he brought out a Mofaya energy drink for marketing aims.

Additionally, some Tweeps were less than impressed DJ Sbu was in the habit of taking advantage of tragedy and many will remember how he was dragged following the passing of SA Hip Hop icon, Prokid in the past year.
