Sjava wins BET Award for Best New International Act

The congratulatory messages have been pouring in for act, , who has now won the in the Best New International Act category.

For the top gong, beat stiff competition from the likes of Nigerian singer and “Maradona” hitmaker, Niniola, who was also a firm favourite.

Other acts in the running for Best New International Act category included Mc Soffia from Brazil, Nailah Blackman from Trinidad and Tobago, Not3s from the United Kingdom.

Others were Prince Waly from France, Sik-K from South Korea, Takeamic from France, Iamddb from the United Kingdom and Kwesi Arthur from Ghana.

In true fashion, made his presence felt at the glitzy award ceremony held Sunday Night in Los Angeles, USA.

The “Isina Muva” mastermind adorned his full Zulu Warrior regalia to the amazement of attendees on the evening.

Congratulatory messages have come even from the Government of South Africa, Cassper Nyovest, Kwesta and several others.

Unfortunately, Cassper Nyovest and Distruction Boyz couldn’t make it a clean sweep for South African representatives to the 2018 .

This is as Davido won in the Best International act category where they have been nominated alongside Booba (France), Fally Ipupa (Dr. Congo), J Hus (UK), Niska (France), (Nigeria), Stefflon Don (UK) and Stormzy (UK).
