Success indeed calleth to success. Where there is a successful musician, you are most likely to find other successful musicians. The same may be said of other industries across the world.
“Huku” hitmaker Sho Madjozi is very excited at the moment. The Tsonga musician is set to set to perform alongside some global music stars in New York at the Global Citizen Festival. She took to her Instagram pages to break the good news to her fans.
She wrote: “M y people! I have BIG NEWS 😊🙏🏾 Shout out @black_motion for covering for me at #HomeComingAfrica have fun you guys 🔥💖🙏🏾”
Sho Madjozi, who is the face of Trace Mobile’s #NEVEREXPIRE campaign, was in New York last month for the Afro Punk Festival. Although she was whisked off stage at the after-party, the singer still wowed the audience in the brief interval she performed.
It seems the love for the sultry singer is not limited to her home country South Africa, as the singer has continued to woo audiences globally. Returning to New York is an affirmation of her appeal and powers as an artiste.
The festival means a lot to her, as it was the first time an African made the lineup. Sho Madjozi herself. She gushed to TshisaLIVE: “It’s a huge opportunity. Previously there wasn’t an African on the lineup and then they chose me. I am mind blown. I’m so excited about this opportunity.”
