Sho Madjozi is seriously killing it as she snags a new international award to add to her growing list of accolades.
If popular Mzansi act, Sho Madjozi ever got in on the “I deserve some accolades challenge” it’d be suiting because we all know that she does. The hot thriller has been on a crazy incline all through this year, and she’s not stopping for anyone.
She previously made headlines when she won the highly coveted BET Award for Best New International Act this year. Now, she’s in the news again for winning the Best Female for Southern Africa at the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) which held days back in Dallas, Texas.
She excitedly took to her Instagram page to share the news to her fans and also shout out her buddy, MasterKG who won in the Best Male category. She wrote
“Last night I won Best Female for Southern Africa at the AFRIMMA in Dallas Texas. According to you, what song do you think got me this award? (Well done to my homie MasterKG who won for best male.”
It’s no news that the winning song she was referring to was her huge hit, “John Cena”. Since the song debuted on the streaming platform Colors in August, it has become a viral hit with people from across nations vibing to it.
She once announced on Instagram that the song had hit 5 million views on Colors. The song even got a reaction from Cena himself who danced to it on the Ellen DeGeneres Show a little while back.
It’s been an awesome year for the hot shot thriller who continues to blow our minds at every turn. We wonder what she’s going to win next before the year ends.
