AfroPunk Fest Brooklyn has announced the list of international acts that will be performing at this year’s event. We can now duly inform that Tsonga Rapper, Sho Madjozi, Nakhane and Manthe Ribane will be there to fly the Mzansi flag.
The Afropunk Festival (commonly referred to as Afropunk or Afropunk Fest ) is an annual arts festival that celebrates and unifies the cultural cornerstones of AFROPUNK through music, film, skate, and art.
Many might recall that TV Personality, Singer, Actress and Model, Nandi Madida made history last August as she became the first African to host the Afropunk Brooklyn Music Festival.
This time around Sho Madjozi who has shown immense talent as the break-out sensation of 2017 will be on hand to thrill fans with her unique and distinct musical style; which very much stays aligned and in tune with her Limpopo roots.
Eastern Cape-born, Nakhane will also be on hand to mesmerise with his ravishingly beautiful voice, while Manth Ribane will complete the list of South African performances.
The trio will be joined by such global heavyweights including Erykah Badu, Janelle, Miguel, Lonewolf, Tyler, The Internet, Jaden + Willow Smith and several others.
The Afropunk Brooklyn Music Festival will hold in Brooklyn, New York, USA on the 25th and 26th of August 2018.
