If you got anything lined up for December, maybe you should cancel your plans because Rick Ross, the American rap king, is set to hit the shores of Mzansi and take revellers by storm, under the stables of Block Party.

The Block Party event is hosted in a partnership with MTV Base (DSTV channel 322), and will see championing the event in Durban and East London.

December, 21st, the American rapper will first make way to a Durban festival, in partnership with Gagasi FM. The showdown is set to take place at Kings Park stadium outer fields.

The next day, the Gold Roses hit-maker will headline in East London, at Buffalo Park stadium.

Following 2015, 2016, and 2017, the events were championed by Black Coffee. The event will see a host of more than 20 local artists across genres like house, amapiano, gqom, and hip-hop.

Tickets for the global heavyweight are available at Webtickets and/or Pick n Pay outlets nationwide, with prices beginning from R345. And the doors will be open by 2pm.

To further make the waves more than what many can bear, Rozay did a promotional video on his visit to the “Motherland”. Since the news dropped, fans have shared their excitement at seeing the man himself, the boss, Rick Ross.

His impending visit is not the first time the the business mogul is showing his love for South Africa; especially with his trending collaboration with SA Hip Hop titan, Kwesta Dakar.

The only thing to do for yourself this season is not to miss this show. Get your tickets.
