Mi Casa’s J’Something Speaks of his Emotional Attachment to Mozambique




Life is conditioned such time we may get sentimentally and sometimes emotionally attached to people, places, things… you name it. This is one of life’s many treats. One of our musos here in South Africa is in the hold of emotion right now

Mi Casa band member band Member J’Something, who recently described 2018 as the hardest year for his group yet, has revealed a great emotional attachment to Mozambique,  a southern Africa country like his native South Africa.

J’Something recently took to Instagram to reveal why he is emotional about Mozambique. According to the vocalist, who is inspiring fans to stay focused for the New Year, his grandmother was born there, and his father worked there for years.

This means a lot for J’Something, whose band Mi Casa has gifted us several songs, including “Nana

Concluding on his emotional attachment to Mozambique, J’Something wrote: “EVERYTIME I go there I always spend some time reflecting on this, imagining how proud my dad would be to see me performing in his country. @mot_micasa got this jacket made for me … something I will treasure for a long time.

But when it comes to picking a favourite South African artiste, J’Something would not hesitate to tell you his is “Different” crooner Shekhinah.
