Kwesta’s ‘Spirit’ music video to go on exhibition in Hong Kong

SA titan, Dakar continues on his string of successes and the latest is news that the music video for his smash hit single, Spirit,”will be going on exhibition in faraway Hong Kong.

The record which features Nigerian/American rapper, Wale, had dropped to critical acclaim in October, 2017. The music video premiered in January this year to massive ratings and currently sits at almost 3 million YouTube views.

An excited took to social media platform, Twitter, to share the news with his army of loyal fans.

16 Jun – 2 Sep, 2018 #ThisIsSouthAfrica!” theNgiyaz’Fela Ngawe mastermind Tweeted.

According to its website, Para Site is Hong Kong’s leading contemporary art centre and one of the oldest and most active independent art institutions in Asia.

It produces exhibitions, publications, discursive, and educational projects aimed at forging a critical understanding of local and international phenomena in art and society.

This is yet another feat for who was unable to replicate the his 2017 success and feat at the 2018 South African Music Awards but was recently featured on the cover of the world’s leading fashion magazine, GQ.
