Fans of the rapper have since expressed their displeasure with the news. They’ve even gone as far as starting the hashtag #CassperSAHipHopNeedYou and making it trend. Well, that got the rapper so emotional that he replied,
“Dawg, I’m loved!!! The love yall show me, just know that i see it & i will never takle it for granted. I will always give you good music & entertain y’all for as long as i am able to. Thank you for always finding ways to uplift me & my spirit. I really love Ya’ll. Thank you. ❤”
But it wasn’t what made him reconsider. Before the hashtag trended, SA rapper, Kid X’s two cents on the matter seemed to really changed his mind. Replying to a tweet by the rap icon, he reminded him how much he had impacted the SA hip-hop scene and how it wouldn’t be the same without him.
Mufasa had tweeted
“Angithi bathi Mina im trash. ASJAIVE FOR NOW!!!! KOKOTA PIANO!!!! KOKOTA!!!! SHI SHI SHI!!!!” to which X replied “The game gon always need you king” reminding him of his contributions to the game.
It’s safe to say that stopped him dead in his tracks. The Mzansi rapper finally announced that he’d be getting back in the studio to dish rap hits in reply to X‘s message. He wrote
“Love from your peers is something special. This one fucked me up X, won’t lie. Love you ma dawg. Thank you for always being a real one. No i really need to get back in the booth.”
