SA Hip Hop heavyweight, Molemo Maarohanye, better known as Jub Jub recently revealed that he’s landed a new TV gig and would be coming to our TV screens on a show that focuses on the path of forgiveness.
It would be recalled that the past few years hasn’t been rosy for the superstar act who once had all going well for him.
On 8 March 2010, he and his friend, Themba Tshabalala caused a serious accident while drag racing under heavy influence of hard drugs on a public road near a school resulting to the death of four school children as well two survivors left with damaged brains.
He and his friend were eventually sentenced to 25 years in jail each for murder, attempted murder, and three related offences by the Protea Magistrate Court in Soweto.
After four years, the Jub Jub was released on parole and has been doing his best to make sure he never derails from the right track. He has even released songs asking for forgiveness from his fans and the public. And now, he’s landed a dope new TV show gig on DSTV’s Moja Love, which he has begun filming.
Ever since his release, the Jub Jub has been approached by various brands with quite a number of projects. However, none resonated with him like this new one. The TV show is expected to air from the 2oth of May, 2018.
