Just last week, we thought we were the only ones who could spot Sho Madjozi in a crowd because of the new hair. Well, by the looks of it, she’s a global sensation now. The female SA rapper is making us proud by the day.
WWE wrestling star and actor, John Cena recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show where he busted moves to the rapper’s hit track.
Of course when Cena endorses your music on one of TV’s most watched daytime talkshows, you’re well on your way to amassing global fame. Well, that alone caused the rapper’s track to hit two million views in just two weeks. Insane right?
The Tsonga queen couldn’t contain her joy at the incredible sight. Sharing the clip to her Twitter account, she wrote “Woahhhh!! Ellen DeGeneres really found John Cena and got him to dance #JohnCena!!” It was followed by emojis showing awe, surprise, love, salute and even a blown mind.
It’s right to state that the rapper has achieved so much with her career and just a little space of time. Since her emergence to the music scene, she’s snagged awards for her incredible music and also appeared on magazine covers. She’s also built an incredible fan following and appeared on lineups for the biggest concerts.
Last week, the Sho Madjozi debuted a new look to promote the viral single. The hairstyle featured braids with beaded ends which spell out her name in full. It also featured an intricate pattern spelling out the name John Cena on her head.
