The global Hip Hop community has yet been thrown into mourning once again with the fatal shooting of Grammy nominated rapper, Nipsey Hussle on Sunday, 31st March, 2019.
Nipsey Hussle whose real name was Ermias Asghedom born on August 15, 1985. He was raised in the Crenshaw neighborhood of South Los Angeles.
His father is a refugee from Eritrea to the U.S. who escaped the ongoing war in his homeland and his mother is American. Hussle was an Eritrean American.
However, tragedy struck on 31st of March after the rapper was shot multiple times in the parking lot of his Marathon Clothing store, in South Los Angeles at about 3:25 p.m.
At the time of the shooting, Nipsey Hussle was hit five times in the torso and once in the head. He was transported to hospital but was unfortunately pronounced dead on arrival. He was only 33 years old.
