DJ Zinhle continues to be one of the most successful female personalities on the circuit and has revealed a whole lot more bothering on her finances and personal relationships.
She revealed this much during a sit down on The Money Show with Bruce Whitfield.
Despite the glitz and glamour behind social media, the reality is a stark contrast!
DJ Zinhle, who recently finished building and furnishing her house, said that when people gave her money as a young girl, her mother would ensure she returns it.
“My earliest memory of money is rules. If an uncle and friend would give us money, my mom would make us return it because she said we had asked for it and that was not okay.”
She said that while she invested a lot of her money, being pregnant with her daughter, Kairo, and resulting complications after birth, plus having to build and furnish her house scraped a huge chunk of her money.
However, she learnt quickly to look for other revenue generation methods in case her DJ gigs come to an end.
On speaking about spending money, DJ Zinhle said she splurges on shopping as well as helping family members.
“Some of us have family who are always asking for money and you have to help out somewhere and you are not able to say no.”
As regards her relationship with AKA following the abrupt end to their relationship with some issues exposed on social media, DJ Zinhle claims the duo is apparently in a really good space at the moment.
Many will readily recall the Mother’s Day shout out SupaMega gave to Zihnle; making it a huge departure from their acrimonious break up in 2016.
