He came under fire recently over his lessons on hustling in which he told his fans how he gained access to a gym in the United States even without a gym membership card. Many fans thought it was criminal, reckless breaking of American laws, but Mo Faya boss DJ Sbu had brushed aside such criticisms and is looking forwarding to expanding the market for his energy drink brand.
Right now DJ Sbu is heading to Tanzanian, another African country, with the aid of friend and now business partner Ali Kiba, himself a noted musician.
“I present to you my new business partner: The KING @OfficialAliKiba who will be heading MoFaya Beverages Tanzania,” DJ Sbu tweeted, introducing fans to his new partner.
Ali Kiba, the mastermind of “Karim (Remake),” had released “Najiandae” in collaboration with Ommy Dimpoz and had featured on Navy Kenzo’s “Lini.” Ali Kiba ix expected to use his musical influence to push sales of mo Faya in Tanzania.
DJ Sbu, who opened a record label with Mzekezeke last year, is probably one of South Africa’s musicians with the most entrepreneurial spirit. This has seen him collaborate with some global financial leaders, including Robert Kiyosaki.
Hopefully, from Tanzania, Mo Faya might inch closer to becoming a global brand.
