Cassper Nyovest Recollects Moments with Dave Chappelle and Jay-Z’s Observations

For “Tito Mboweni” hitmaker , it is glory to glory and success to success. And now the world and its stars are talking about him, avowing love and appreciation of his quirks.

A day after he had filled up Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, he had gone on to give a superlative performance at the Global Citizen Festival, winning many over, including comedian Dave Chappelle and well, Jay-Z.

During ’s performance at the Global Citizen festival, Jay-Z apparently thought was the American rapper Jeezy. It was kinda comic, especially to , who took to Twitter to recollect the moment and the thrill of having got Jay-Z’s attention.

His tweet reads: “ saw me performing at Global citizen and asked his bodyguard if that’s Jeezy on stage… hahaha. The chiskop and beard is too gangster!!! At least I got Hov’s attention.

Although the Moses Mabhida Stadium concert and the success of it has attracted supposedly negative comments what many call a shade – from L’vovo and others, is flying on and luxuriating in accolades from around the world.

And Cassper Nyovest, who many speculate Emtee had shaded in a tweet early this week, is not one to keep quiet over this career plus – the recognition of his talent and powers as an artiste by a global star. He took to twitter to speak of his experience after he turned up at Dave Chappell’s show.

I went to see Dave Chappelle’s show last night. As I was waiting in the line to meet him he stand say “Yo !” , I look behind me to check who his talking to and he yells “Yo Cassper , Come here”. I walk over to him and he grabs my hand tight & says “You killed that shit on Sunday.

Apparently Dave Chappelle came around again, and this time he said out loud to Cassper Nyovest that he loves him. It is a love that is certainly shared by millions in South Africa. Cassper Nyovest had himself once observed his peoples’ love for him in a tweet “…you love me.”
