Cassper Nyovest insists ‘Thuto’ album clinched gold in a day
Family Tree Records Boss, Cassper Nyovest has again insisted his “Thuto” album clinched gold status in a day.
Mufasa released the album to critical acclaim on the 5th day of May, 2017, earning both international and local praise for a job well-done.
Unfortunately, Cassper has also come under heavy criticisms from certain quarters who feel he exaggerates his records of sales and his spat with DJ Maphorisa is very well documented.
However, the “Tito Mboweni” mastermind who has also argued about the love of his fans in recent times took to social media platform, Twitter, to show evidence of sales as well the support of his followers.
“Oh by the way, we really went gold in a day with #Thuto!!! Check the dates on the certificate!! NO CAP!!! I don’t know why y’all keep tryna flex on my fans when you know #TeamNyovest is the strongest team, period!!! Y’all are just playing catch up. 🤷🏿♂️” he Tweeted.
As he gears up for his Fill Up Moses Mabhida Stadium event, Cassper Nyovest is among a host of superstars due to perform in South African in December at the Global Citizen Festival with this year’s theme titled Mandela 100.
Others are American singer, Beyoncé, her Hip Hop mogul husband, Jay-Z, D’Banj, Femi Kuti, Ed Sheeran, Pharrell Williams, Sho Madjozi, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Usher and others.
