Beam Group set to close shop as AKA & Prince scrap business ties

They say there is no fire without a smoke and latest developing trends simply confirm long-standing speculations of a rift between AKA and his Beam Group business partner, Prince Nyembe.
The SupaMega recently took to social media platform to inform his army of loyal fans – The Megacy – of plans to shut down the operations of the company which he set up after his departure from Vth Season.
“We started the company with the best of intentions, unfortunately it’s just not working out for me the way I wanted it to … so I’m taking my ball and going to play elsewhere,” he Tweeted.
Not done, the “Fela In Versace” hitmaker made it clear that Beam Group no longer manages or represents him in any capacity, even while they remain in the process of shutting down the set-up.
“Unfortunately I also have to announce that Beam Group now no longer represents or manages me in ANY capacity. While I remain the owner of the company, I’m actually in the process of shutting it down.” he explained further.
AKA whose real name is Kiernan Forbes had announced the launch of Beam Group with Prince in June of 2017 after he severed ties with Vth Season as well as the acrimonious break-up with owner, Raphael Benza.
Even though Prince was right in the middle of that public fall-out with Benza, it looks like it is his own turn to get the barrel and shots directed at by the “Touch My Blood” mastermind.
“The truth is, AKA is really the “company”. So having a company is actually quite pointless since I’m AKA,” the rapper Tweeted to confirm his superiority.
Prince on his part had sought to downplay the rumours when he sat down for an interview recently with YFM.
“When I bump into people and they ask me what’s going on there and if we (he and Kiernan) are okay. There’s no fighting between me and Kiernan.
I know there’s people saying stuff happened between Blaq Smith and Kiernan or us. No, nothing happened. The guys are okay. Kiernan always likes to empower people,” Prince said at the time.

Only thing is now that AKA has put out the blast, it is left to be seen how he responds to this setback. Whichever way, we can only wish both business partners the very best moving forward.
