Amidst Cassper & Riky Rick Feud, Stogie T Gets Special Shout Out From Kwesta
Lyricist, Stogie T has had quite a rough few days in the game having been slammed by Cassper Nyovest and Riky Rick for claiming he paved the way for their success. Now, he’s found succour from none other than K1 god, Kwesta.
Having picked up Song of the Year and Best Digital Sales at the SA Hip Hop Awards, Stogie T whose real name is Tumi Molekane reached out to congratulate Kwesta on social media channel, Twitter.
“Congrats my brother @KwestaDaKAR 👊🏾” he Tweeted.
With the utmost humility as is the usual trademark of the “Dakar II“ album mastermind whose real name is Senzo Mfundo, he penned a heartfelt note to Tumi to express appreciation for all he sacrificed and has been able to achieve to pave the way for others like him.
“Thank you for your decades of devotion to the craft & culture.
#OnGod one of the pioneers that made my success & SA Hip Hop possible. You sacrificed it all so I’d never have to work a day in my life & still put food on the table. Thanks to your generation #HipHopSavedMyLife!✊🏾” Kwesta wrote.
The position of the multi-award winning rapper is a whole lot different to the thoughts and belief of Cassper Nyovest and usual collaborator, Riky Rick.
Asides from the Doc Shebeleza calling out Stogie T at the SA Hip Hop awards when he picked up the gong for Album of the Year, he also reiterated in a Tweet that he meant every single word of all he said on the night.
Boss Zonke hasn’t been too kind to his former boss at Motif as well. He shared a Tweet where he slammed Stogie T, saying he was trying to claim the success of other artists. Their fans have been roasting the latter across social channels ever since.
What do you think of Kwesta‘s departure from the beef unto peace and appreciation of Stogie T‘s contribution? Kindly share your thoughts and opinion in the comments section below.
