AKA’s ‘Touch My Blood’ album certified gold in only a week
It is celebration galore in the camp of the Megacy as AKA’s “Touch My Blood” album has been certfied gold in only a week of its release.
SupaMega made the confirmation on his social media platform, Twitter, even though he said he would have prefered to wait for the plaque first.
“We wanted to keep it a surprise and wait for the plaque … but the MEGACY is too fast and clearly we can’t hide it from you any longer … Thank You to everyone who has bought this album … #TouchMyBlood is now GOLD. 📀” AKA Tweeted.
It will be recalled that AKA had dropped the album to massive acclaim on the 15th of June. In fact, the buzz of the body of work continues to be felt across the circuit.
Even though it is only a week old, pundits and industry watchers are already regarding it as one of the finest projects this campaign.
Plus, AKA has said “Touch My Blood” might be his final album, himself and the ever-loyal Megacy are now on the quest to clinch a platinum status for his final gong and bow.
The Beam Group mogul does have a strong base of heavyweight support and several industry favourites including Kwesta, Reason, Yanga Chief, Rouge, Kiddominant, JR, DJ Double D and more have all congratulated him on the feat.
It is left to be seen when the album clinches the platinum status but it looks to be only a matter of when rather than if.
Congratulations are in order for SupaMega and you might want to join the conversation with your wishes in the comments section below.
