Could this be the end of South African Hip Hop’s biggest rivalry? AKA, just took the biggest step at mending fences with his fiercest competition. He signified interest in filling up the FNB Stadium with Cassper Nyovest.
“I wanna do fill up FNB with Tsibip. It’s time we put this shit to bed. It’s 2017 guys …”
It is known AKA refers to Cassper as Tsibip. However, considering the discord that exists between them, this move is actually a massive one by all standards.
He went on even further about his plans:
The contention between the duo even reared its ugly head as recently as May when AKA released his smash hit single, “Don’t Forget To Pray“ on the same day as the drop of Cassper‘s platinum earning “Thuto“ album.
Many fans at the time had expected Cassper to pay AKA back in his own coin at the time the latter released his collaborative “Be Careful What You Wish For“ album with Anatii on the 28th of July.
However, the Family Tree Records Boss simply took the higher road and dropped the music video for “Destiny“ on the 30th of July instead.
It is left to be seen if Cassper Nyovest accepts or refuses AKA’s offer; especially considering the fact that he’s been facing some challenges regarding the show, even revealing he considered selling his luxury cars.
One thing is clear, many fans across social media are already sceptical about SupaMega’s move, while some have applauded the intention.
