As SA Hip Hop titan, AKA gears up for the release of his upcoming “Touch My Blood” album, he has now revealed his fan base and following as the most important factor which no one can take away from him. This he referred to as his ‘Megacy.’
The SupaMega took to social media platform, Twitter, to make a revelation series on how strange things were happening and how he was being sabotaged. In particular, the serial hitmaker made reference to his music videos on YouTube which were wiped out, taken down and reloaded.
These, all in a bid to erase his legacy; especially on the social media platform with tens of millions worth of views.
“Go look at my YouTube views and ask yourself why millions(and I mean tens of millions worth of views) .. have been wiped out, taken down, then reloaded.”
“One thing nobody can take from me is my fan base and following. The Megacy, Come the 15th of JUNE I know you got my back. 🙏🏼 … nobody can stop us.” AKA Tweeted.
However, from previous posts many industry watchers will readily admit AKA‘s subtle jabs was directed at his former record label, Vth Season as well as Raphael Benza.
“The Recording Industry is EXACTLY like modern day slavery. If you made AKA. Why can’t you make another one? Strange things happening. All you have to do is look closely.” the “Caiphus Song” mastermind posted.
AKA departed Vth Season last year in acrimonious circumstances to set up his own Beam Group. There has been accusations and counter accusations ever since bothering on several issues including xenophobia and indebtedness.
While we cannot wait for the premiere of AKA‘s highly-anticipated project which might be his final outing, it is the best time to follow Hitvibes across social channels as we will be bringing your developing trends as they unfold.
