The Baby Boy and a handful of acts including B3nchMarQ and Fifi Cooper had departed the imprint in acrimonious fashion in the past year.
At the time, there had been accusations and counter accusations that Emtee had backed out of a consensus to leave together and even Fifi Cooper did throw her own salvo and shade at the “Manando” Trapper.
A-Reece had a sit down with Pearl Thusi on MTV Base’s ‘Behind The Scene’ recently and touched on the mattrer of his departure from Ambitiouz Entertainment as well as Emtee’s cold feet; insisting the latter had wanted to leave as well.
“Emtee had the same feelings about the label and his were probably worse because his were bottled in,” A-Reece said.
He said during a show in Polokwane, Emtee opened up about hit thoughts on leaving the label because he felt marginalised as an artist at the time.
A-Reece would eventually go on to form The Wrecking Crew with fellow rappers, producers and creatives, while Emtee has continued to keep the faith in Ambitiouz.
