After such an iconic year iconic year which saw Yung Swiss crowned as the South Africa’s King Trapper, he opens his account for 2018 in fine style. Titled “Psychedelia,” he makes a stunning reunion with Skhanda gawd, K.O.
“Psychedelia” is the definition of a different kind of high. Plus, with this one based on the music, art and culture, it does look like we aren’t getting sober in the least this weekend and for some weeks to come.
In fact, knowing the kinda magic Yung Swiss and K.O created in the past with their smash hit collaboration, “Jungle,” you just get the mesmerising, electronic and energetic feel to this insane Playground production right from the first stream.
However, the lyrical grind and the laid-back delivery just messes with your mind a little, but in the finest of ways that you just know the addictive “Psychedelia” is one piece that’s becoming the favourite D.O.G.
Yung Swiss doesn’t look like he cares too much about the distraction or competition so when he says ‘Bye Felicia,’ you better know when to take the hike. We don’t regard that as shots fired, just stating the obvious.
Then comes K.O still blazing off the drop of his “SR2“ album with a streak of music videos to match. He proves with his lyrical depth and abilities that he is in fact the game and the culture.
Looks like the industry just got a jolt and we’ll see who’ll remain the last man standing. Grab a dose of this explosive episode as well as its accompanying music video, but be sure to share your thoughts and opinion in the comments section below.
