Botswana’s beloved House-Kwasa sensation, Vee Mampeezy just dropped perhaps the biggest tune of the first quarter and he titles this one, “Khubama Re Itshebe.”
After several years of churning out hit songs, Vee Mampeezy whose real name is Odirile Sento again scored the biggest song in his country and across Southern Africa in the past year when he unleashed the monster record, “Champion.”
Now, the Champion makes “Khubama Re Itshebe” a ballad, ode and dedication to the special lady. You just cannot fault the abundance of talent the Universal Music Group act and disc jockey packs.
“Khubama Re Itshebe” is an up-tempo, energetic and jolly vibe that wouldn’t only stream right into the depths of the heart and soul as a love-inspired scorcher; it also holds elements of the dance buzz that fans will groove and grind to on the dance floor.
Especially with its roll of banging beats and dope instrumentals plus the prodding vocal delivery which Vee Mampeezy masterminded on the effort to critical acclaim.
In the end, “Khubama Re Itshebe” is yet another continuation of a streak for Vee Mampeezy who has scored other such bangers on the circuit including “Waba a Tsile,” “Sumuka,” “Hape Hape,” with Khuli Chana, and even the wave-making and chart-topping “I Do,” which featured Trademark and Thulasizwe.
