Nigerian Afro Pop sensation, Skales is finally out with his highly-anticipated “Mr Love” album. Off the project of musical art is a record titled “Pile Up” and which features SA Hip Hop titan, Cassper Nyovest.
Skales is by no way a featherweight in the world of African music. In fact, he had started out his career under the tutelage of Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment (EME).
However, with his lights not shining bright enough like that of contemporary, Wizkid, he sought to build his career elsewhere.
Several hit songs and albums such as “Man of the Year” and “The Never Say Never Guy” later, Skales looks to have returned to the pinnacle he had been predicted to occupy much earlier.
With a terrific work ethic, he makes “Mr Love” his third studio album and by all accounts “Pile Up” is all about his quest for the bank and the moolah.
The singer misses no word as he flaunts the luxury, clout and status as a resultant effect of his hustle and hard work.
Mufasa completed the smash on “Pile Up” with a world of sensual and sultry delivery of dope lyrical lines. You know the “Tito Mboweni” mastermind is incapable of any wrong.
“Pile Up” is produced by uber-talented Nigerian producer, Chopstix and is one breezy and wavy record to kick-start an early weekend.
