Its been quite a second since we last heard prolific disc jockey, pH on the hip hop scene. However, all is about to change as DJ pH commissions a fierce new tune. Titled “Flight Mode”, the potential screamer carries the feature of hip hop heavyweights Da L.E.Sand B3nchmarQ.
pH commissioned his star-studded “Before I Break“ EP at the close of 2016. That masterclass project of musical art featured such royals in the SA game including Nasty C, Gemini Major, Kwesta, Frank Casino, Reason, amongst others.
This is why we believe “Flight Mode” is set to become the continuation of a roll and streak for this magician on the decks and turntables. In fact, we are already feeling the heat from the dirty version pH already released.
From the lineup alone, you could already predict the lyrical smash and abundant deliveries as the support of some of the most active players in the game should be expected to come to play.
Da L.E.S has just been about a part of almost all the hit songs this year. He also orchestrated Fresh 2 Def’s superstar collaborative album titled “Hall Of Fame“. Additionally, he is set to drop another album on September 29 and already released the lead single off that project – “Popular Demand“ – to much fanfare.
The duo of Pjay and Tkay that make up hip hop group, B3nchmarQ, have been on a roll themselves. They have an upcoming project on the way and have gone on a spree of massive content releases including “U.K“, “Camera Shy“, “Highlight“, just to mention a few.
Then, you can already try to picture the lyrical arsenal unleashed on “Flight Mode” as well as the beats and instrumentals to back it up. The effort was produced by the sensationalIceman Beatz, so trust the rout was thoroughly completed.
