The “50 Degrees“ album of House/Kwaito club and radio DJ and Producer, Oskido, is highly-anticipated. However, one record that has already been commissioned is titled “Pepereza” and it features two heavyweights in the mould of Dr Moruti and McKenzie.
“Pepereza” is not your normal Afro House offering off the stables of Oskido. The Kalawa Jazmee General went beyond and above on this latest smash to plot and fashion out a burning sensation that packs elements of Afro-Caribbean flavours. Plus, it packs a tribal feel to it as well that stuns.
Oskido whose real name is Oscar Bonginkosi Mdlongwa was born in Oukasie township, near Brits, South Africa in 1967. He remains a legend on the circuit and the story of South African music is never complete without the pace-setting brilliance and ingenuity of the serial hitmaker.
Here are some Oskido’s video mix:
He has brought joy to households and groove to dance floors with such efforts as his recently dropped “Skaba Forgiva,” which featured DJ Steve and Michael Matebe, “AmaGrootmaan,” “Tsa Ma Ndebele,” “Woza Nana,” Tula Sizwe,” “Mama Wami,” “Dlozi, “Phezu Kwayo,” and many others too numerous to mention.
Dr Moruti is a production genius and he is also still buzzing across the scene with his recently released “Guitar Shadow“ album. The “Intoxicated Love“ mastermind brings the stunning production to bare on “Pepereza.”
McKenzie is a collaborator-in-chief and has made magic off several stunning efforts too numerous to count. The “Margarida“ star brought that melodious sounds to bare yet again on “Pepereza” to complete the rout on all fronts and achieve a massive solid.
The dance floor just got dents with sick and slick dance moves that will be inspired by this latest banger. Get in that grit and grind as well – simply cop, then share your thoughts and opinion in the comments section below.
