The Ndlovu Youth Choir is a group of young people from the Ndlovu Care Group in the rural village of Moutse, Limpopo.
Founded in 1994 by a Dutch doctor, Dr Hugo Tempelman, the Ndlovu Care Group provides innovative healthcare, childcare, education and development.
However, the Ndlovu Youth Choir itself was set up in 2009 and have impacted communities and youngsters with their amazing voices and and superb melodies.
They have previously achieved fame through several pieces of quality music but the cover of Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” might have been their tallest feat yet.
Especially since the song is also one of the greatest songs ever and the greatest one of the British singer in particular.
Plus, with the support of Grammy Award-winning South African flutist, producer and composer who has won seven South African Music Awards, Wouter Kellerman, you know this combination is not one that is ordinary.
Only thing is they might have taken this cover to greater extents and completely made it theirs. Even Ed Sheeran will be awed and there is currently a campaign across social channels to bring his attention to it.
