It is the International Day of The Girl Child and the girls are showing a collective Girl Power resolve. This is as Miss Pru DJ commissions the monster hit song titled “Isaga Lam.” The effort features the heavyweight contributions of La Sauce, Gigi Lamayne, Nadia Nakai and Londie London.
Miss Pru DJ whose real name is Prudence Sebalo definitely holds the X Factor in her stride. Her deliveries have been smashing back-to-back hits that we won’t even forget the beastly efforts she made of “Ameni” as well as “Phumelela,” which featured Emtee, Fifi Cooper, Amanda Black, A Reece Sjava, Saudi and B3nchMarQ.
Perhaps, “Isaga Lam” might just be set to change that status quo. The line-up itself is fierce with La Sauce leading the girls out in battle. She gave the ladders of support to her label mate with a stand-up performance as she did on on her most recent outings including “Cooler Bag” and the record-breaking, “I Do.” You can’t sleep on her kind of vocals.
Mabala Noise Entertainment‘s Gigi Lamayne put aside label affiliations with her trademark fierce delivery that just makes other Emcees stutter. In fact, asides from letting the fire born on several freestyles; she’s proved her clout on her recent offerings including “Lobola“ and “1 Bar.”
Nadia Nakai is a boss lady. The “Sqwaa“ rapper of the Family Tree fame does prove why she’s regarded as a royal on the circuit. She dropped those deft and tactical lines with the mien of a lyrical pugilist and it just stuns.
On “Isaga Lam,” the latest Ambitiouz prodigy, Londie London, came through with her unique and distinct kinda offering as she recently showcased on “He Goes.” In the end, the vocals just fuses with perfectly around the edges of Hip Hop and drives back memory lane to the days R&B and Hip Hop seemed like Siamese twins.
Miss Pru DJ did get the best out of these damsels and she might have just scored a smash. Did we say the hook packs some uranium – the major ingredient used in the making of nuclear weapons?
