Mi Casa made up of Dr. Duda (producer and pianist), J’Something (vocalist and guitarist), and Mo-T (trumpeter), have duly paid their dues in the world of South African music.
In recent times, they kicked off a project to slow down several of there blazing records; breathing new life into them in the process.
To this length and extent, we already saw them make magic of the record titled “Give You Love” which was originally released in 2011 and which made a cut on their self-titled “Mi Casa Album.”
With the celebration and approval of that previous effort, Mi Casa returns quickly to the trends with yet another classic and evergreen.
“Leave” was originally released in 2013 and had dominated the industry at the time of its premiere especially with its deep, emotional and powerful overall.
This time and with “Leave (Downtempo),” Mi Casa simply slows down the song about the challenges of love as well as one that reminisces about the good times of relationships even in tougher times.
In the end, “Leave (Downtempo)” is a breath of fresh air as well as a re-engineering that almost births a reincarnation.
