Legendary Nigerian rapper, M.I Abaga has now commissioned his highly-anticipated “Rendezvous” album. Off that 15-track project of musical art is the masterclass titled “On Code.” It features SupaMega, AKA.
It is little surprise The Chairman featured two of South Africa’s finest cats in Cassper Nyovest and AKA. After all, M.I had given the props to SA rappers, while criticising Nigerian emcees with the song “You Rappers Should Fix Up Your Lives.”
As controversial as that piece might be, it doesn’t diminish the abundance of talent streaming out of the game in SA and AKA simply justified that abundance on the joint “On Code.”
“On Code” is all about making bank and the moolah. The duo of M.I Abaga and AKA simply flossed and flaunted the lyrical grit of the hustle and the grind for that paper.
It might be the season of the Chocolate City boss but with “Sweet Fire“ and “StarSigns“ already buzzing this year as well as the sick and slick lines he delivered on his verse, AKA might have managed to steal the shine on the stage this time.
Cop “On Code,” and be sure to share your thoughts and opinion in the comments section below.
