American rapper, Kanye West finally releases his highly anticipated Christian album, “Jesus Is King”. The album sees the rapper get honest about his faith and also be his self-loving person as always.
Ye is one of very few artists in the world whose music is highly anticipated by fans after the announcement. The award-winning rapper previously broke a lot of hearts when he didn’t deliver on his word to drop the album a few weeks back on September 27th.
Of course, that didn’t stop him from promoting the album at various stops. Finally, it was made available to fans on October 25th.
The album was released via GOOD Music and Def Jam Recordings. As its name implies, the album follows a Christian theme that expresses the gospel in ways only the talented rapper can.
The “Four Five Seconds” hitmaker has personally described the album as an “expression of the gospel”. Prior to the album’s release, the music veteran had begun and performed the acclaimed Sunday Service sessions.
The event usually saw him performing exciting covers of Gospel songs and other songs from most of his albums.
On the new album, the iconic rapper goes all out and talks about his faith, and other things the classic Kanye would usually delve into.
The album features additional contributions from Ty Dolla $ign, Kenny G, Fred Hammond, Clipse, Ant Clemons, and Sunday Service. Production credits go to West, Benny Blanco, Timbaland, and more.
