Still basking on the success of his recently released album and a performance at the ATL’s Birthday Bash which was headlined by Nicki Minaj, Migos and Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane returns with a new single titled “Tone It Down,” featuring the rave of the moment Chris Brown, a follow up on their recent “Party” collaboration.
The flute infused tune was produced by Yung Berg popularly known as Hitmaka. On the potential club banger, Breezy flexes his lyrical prowess singing about his extravagant lifestyle and snatching your girl, while Gucci drops some core, blazing fast verses in the course.
We didn’t see a Breezy Gucci collaboration coming as the song dropped unexpectedly very late Monday night with no earlier announcement. We are not aware weather the song is part of a future project or standalone either.
This is Chris Brown’s second big surprise release in less than 24 hours. On Monday, he put out a collaborative mixtape with Ray J called Burn My Name. Gucci, for his part, is featured on Big Boi’s new album Boomiverse and has just released a movie.
