Celebrated disc jockey, DJ Ganyani continues to leave his footprints on the sands of time with his “Ganyani’s House Grooves 10” Album. With the 10th episode of the album series, you know the veteran is definitely holds an undisputed legendary status.
The Afro House legend whose real name is Ganyani Tshabalala has been in the music industry for over 2 decades; having started off as a self-taught DJ at the age of 15. This is why he is able to experiment with a lot of genres and has even delved towards the Gqom craze that’s mostly appealing to much younger acts.
However, with his artistry and craft on the decks and turntables, DJ Ganyani does hold a versatile side that that’s just about all he needs to succeed at whatever conquest he hopes to achieve on the circuit.
Even more recently, he teamed up with the dance group, GoodLuck, on a blockbuster titled “Fading.” That effort continues to dominate the charts as well as open up a whole new young and vibrant audience for the perennial hitmaker.
Make no mistakes though, DJ Ganyani still appeals and appreciates the old school patterns. It isn’t even much of a surprise that he released the “Ganyani’s House Grooves 10” Album in traditional CD copies as well as digital copies.
The “Ganyani’s House Grooves 10” Album is a 15-track project of musical art and it is a no brainier that “Fading” is our early favourite off the album.
It features such heavyweights as Althanas, Dboy, Sasi Jozi, Nomcebo, Monique Bingham, Bongi Silinda, Wonderboy, DJ Chase, MLU, GoodLuck, Benny Mayengani, Vusi Mahlasela, Mishka, Jay Prayzah, and Naima SA.
The album was released by Ganyani Entertainment, under exclusive license to Universal Music (Pty) Ltd (ZA). You can be sure this is one masterclass project of the season and playlists are not needed at least for now.
