SA Hip Hop hitmaker, Da L.E.S returns with the visuals of “Taking No More” off his 2017 High Level album. The record features veteran rapper, Khuli Chana and Tshego of Family Tree Records.
“Taking No More” had streamed off the highly-successful project of musical art of the F2D General and continues on the 6 visuals in 6 weeks campaign of F2D Films.
Born Leslie Jonathan Mampe Jr., and professionally known as Da L.E.S, the multi-talented South African-American rapper achieved early success with his band, Jozi, and is famously known for his solo single “Heaven”, which was released in 2013. And now he is here again with “Taking No More,” featuring Khuli Chana whose birth name is Khulane Morule, a veteran South African Motswako rapper and songwriter.
Khuli Chana came into limelight after the successful release of his major album “Motswakoriginator”, which infused both the Setswana and English languages. The SA hip hop artist has also shared a stage with popular Canadian rapper, Drake.
Worthy of mention is also Tshego, the “Vibe” crooner from whose song cuttings such as “Fomoza” was licensed for the 2016 movie “Happiness is a Four-Letter Word”, and “We okay” another cut which made it to number 7 and 5, on the Gagasi FM and YFM Top 10 R&B charts.
With the combination of these artistically gifted trio, “Taking No More” is one hit banger that shouldn’t be absent from your playlist and its music video is sure set to extend on its lifespan.
