Da L.E.S – High Level Album

Fresh 2 Def Mogul, has now unleashed his highly anticipated “High Level” . The project of musical art is all we thought it would be and even more. Do we need a soothsayer now to let us know the North god is taking over the circuit, at least for the time being? Hell No!

In fact, with the recent drop of the music video for “Popular Demand,” the demand of that record just grew in folds. Whoever thought a motion picture could perform such wonders? That asides…

Prior to the release of his “High Level” , also commissioned “Train Rides” – one joint which is still buzzing across the circuit and the airwaves like it was intended to usher in the success of the .

However, we know deep down those releases are just in tune with the terrific work ethics of whose real name is Leslie Jonathan Mampe, Jr. This year alone, he was very instrumental to ‘s Hall Of Fame album and last year, he dropped his own Diamond In Africa project.

That the “High Level” album is his seventh studio project is just enough testament of his abilities and drive. They say even hard work thrives over talent and the “Lifestyle” hitmaker has proven a combination of both can have amazing effects.

Perhaps, he isn’t even getting enough credit, accolades and recognition for his work, but they say prophets are not really appreciated or celebrated in their own home steads. Many years from now, the name Da L.E.S will become iconic and cherished by generations to come; having shaped their musical mind and journey.

Da L.E.S makes his “High Level” album a 12-track project of musical art. He didn’t go the entire project alone even with all of his capabilities. He called on usual collaborators such as Maggz, Gemini Major, Khuli Chana, Tshego, Tay Green and Baby Da Silva.

We had earlier reported Gemini Major being the producer-in-chief on this project so you can expect nothing short of global standards quality. “Popular Demand” and “Train Rides” remain the only records we have enjoyed off this project. However, the others are equally as hot, steamy, fire, and flames.
