Finally, South African queen of RnB, Ayanda Jiya‘s much-anticipated “To Whom It May Concern” EP is here and it is the bundle of quality we thought it would be.
Regarded as the country’s best RnB songstress, the Klerksdorp, North West native unleashes a new sound which is still a fusion of her powerful and celestial vocals with a touch of a quintessential, soul-touching twist.
However, “To Whom It May Concern” EP features 5 powerful songs of epic proportions bothering on matters of the heart and the world’s greatest gift to humanity – love.
However, the 5 records off the project are easily addictive and you should be ready to waste your ‘replay all’ button fixated on Ayanda Jiya‘s renditions and drive.
Ayanda Jiya made the songs on “To Whom It May Concern” EP a solo effort except for the third track which features exciting act, Ginger Trill and which is titled “Runaway”.
She also teamed up with sound engineer and producer Zephbeats who ensures each and everyone of the songs returned with an output of top-notch global standards. Zephbeats also worked on Stogie T‘s self-titled album – “Stogie T“.
If you have heard some of Ayanda Jiya‘s masterclass efforts including “Go Go Girl” and “Happier Alone”, then you’d know she packs the abundant musical groove that is able to compete on the global RnB stage.
