West Ink Boss, completes a solid campaign with the premiere of a project that he titles the “The Gentle Don EP.”

Initially, the former Big Nuz member had announced plans to quit music, however, fans seems to have become used to these kinds of publicity stunts as a promotional strategy.

Yet, made one of the biggest news and social trends this term with news of a split with his serial-collaborator and lover, .

At the time, the Gqom Queen had announced she was no longer engaged to Mampintsha over allegations the Kwaito star had been abusing her.

She made the revelation during an interview on Metro FM’s The Drive with Mo Flava and Masechaba back in May.

That split saw Mampintsha go on a roll of solo releases of his own; perhaps, the highest he has ever pulled in a single season.

Records such as “Phakamisa,” with Campmasters, “S’yaba Thandazela,” which featured , LaSoulMates and , as well as  “Impoko Mpoko” and “Amakentanga.” readily comes to mind.

Well, the “The Gentle Don EP” is now a collection of those efforts as well as the addition of a new song titled “Savana” and which features BizaWethu, Mr Thela and Aux.
