In the past year, former Mabala Noise Entertainment sensation, Du Boiz dropped a 3 track EP he titled “Three” and the entire industry looks to have slept on it.
This is a massive turn of events for one act who was penciled to achieve great things on the circuit with the early glimpses that he showed.
Du Boiz whose real name is Sandile Kubheka captured the heart of the industry when he launched a collaboration with American rapper, Tyga.
Not done, he also scored the Best Music Video award at the Metro FM Music Awards to massive controversy and drama.
In fact, at some point, the rapper did come out to state openly that other players in the industry hate on him because they do not like him.
Du Boiz would eventually manage to turn things around with such collaborations as “Stand By Me,” which featured Nigerian Afro Pop sensation, Reekado Banks, as well as the monster hit record, “Hallelujah,” alongside SupaMega, AKA.
Only thing is the fact that Du Boiz went under the radar ever since with no releases in the past year except for the “Three” EP.
On this project, he lays some valid claims combining his drops in the English and vernac deliveries that stuns.
Unfortunately, the streets looks to have napped a little bit on this one but not we at Hitvibes.
Perhaps, Du Boiz could have dropped the tracks as single releases to generate more buzz but that is one thing you might have to join the conversation about.
Perhaps, 2019 might be the year of resurgence for one act who showed a world of promise.
