YBN Cordae – Bad Idea Ft. Chance The Rapper

Rapper, YBN Cordae is getting ready for his “The Lost Boy” project and off that coming work, he gifts us this new song titled “Bad Idea” and recruits Chance The Rapper on it.

Unlike the fast-paced rap that fans have come to expect from YBN Cordae, he diverts a bit and takes a more soulful route this time as he reflects on the bad choices and where they led.

This rap focuses on his growing up and he talked about it, going down memory lane to the struggles and race to make it and helped by Chance The Rapper on this one, he excels and does so well.

He opened up his verse with “I know myself all too well to be a stranger of pain/Despite it all, we remainin’ the same, I’m just changin’ the game/Heart pure, never tainted with fame/Straight ahead, I’ma stay in my lane”, to really set the mood for the song and Chance The Rapper came in later to tidy things up.

In 2018, YBN Cordae had teamed up with YBN Nahmir and YBN Almighty Jay to released the “YBN: The Mixtape” project and now as he sets out on his own to create unique sounds with “The Lost Boy” project, this new song is a pretty good way to introduce us to the new YBN Cordae.

This new song from Cordae Dunston known in music circles as YBN Cordae joins other top songs like “Locationships” and “Have Mercy” that he has released in the past and we recommend listening.
