Singer, producer, drummer, Travis Barker has come through with his remix of Lil Peep and XXXTentacion song titled “Falling Down” and he is getting a lot of praise for this one.
The song is coming as a posthumous effort from the producer to honor the memory of the two rappers who sadly are no longer with us.
Travis Barker is no longer a newcomer on the scene. He hasn’t been anyway since a long time ago when he distinguished himself as one of the rappers of note in the industry.
Top songs from him and collaborations with the likes of Lil Wayne, Eminem, The Game, $uicideboy$, Yelawolf, and Rick Ross have ensured that he is one of the top names in the industry and he brought that energy on this song.
He reworked a large part of this song too. It’s not called a remix for nothing. But even then, Travis still admits that he loved the original song better and that was even the motivation behind doing a remix for it in the first place, saying he was inspired by it.
In his words, “[I] still really really love[d] the original. It just puts you in a mood, you know? You never listen with those ears, like, ‘What if i was gonna remix this?’ But you just hear the potential of so many other things it could be.”
The remix has already garnered likes and comments and some have been asking if Lil Peep himself would love this remix. Well, we will never know. Listen to the remix and decide for yourself.
