Rick Ross, Swizz Beatz and DMX have teamed up to release a new collaboration titled ‘Just in Case’.
For over two years, American hip-hop artist, Swizz Beatz has been teasing the release of new music which has additional help from Rozay. Earlier this year, studio footage of DMX, Swizz Beatz, and Rick Ross was shared online, leaving fans in high expectation of the creative from the trio.
The song is delivered in an anthem befitting of a New York street legend, with staccato snares and a regal piano line, the backdrop is well-suited for such storied figures.
The song, which has a history behind it, is off the soundtrack to the anticipated new series Godfather of Harlem which stars Forest Whitaker as the infamous Bumpy Johnson, a real-life mafia boss who forever changed Harlem, New York.
Godfather of Harlem is an upcoming American crime drama television series written by Chris Brancato and Paul Eckstein, both of whom will act as executive producers alongside Markuann Smith, Nina Yang Bongiovi, and James Acheson. Brancato is also expected to act as showrunner.
The narrative of the series explores Bumpy Johnson’s return to Harlem after 10 years in jail and the conflicts that follow as he attempts to gain control of the neighbourhood he once ruled. The first series will premiere on September 29 on Epix.
