Prosecutors Dismisses Case Against Man Arrested Near Taylor Swift’s Home

The case levelled against a man arrested near American singer-songwriter, Taylor Swift‘s mansion in Rhode Island has been dismissed by prosecutors.

The man, identified as David Page Liddle was alerted to police on July 19 after neighbours spotted him hanging around suspiciously outside the singer’s mansion with burglary tools, consisting of a crowbar, metal bat, 30 lock picks and gloves. He was later detained.

A spokesman for the Rhode Island attorney general’s office disclosed that they “declined to pursue filing charges” against the 32-year-old David.

Liddle, who is from Des Moines, Iowa, told the Police that he was looking to “catch up” with the singer because he knew her personally. But Swift’s security personnel said Liddle is on their watch list and had previously been accused of stalking her.
