Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Merkle will be a guest editor for British Vogue’s September Issue and well, many will agree that she is perfect for this considering the theme that the magazine is trying to achieve.
The theme for the September issue is “Forces of Changes” and who better to guest edit on that than Meghan Merkle herself that has been a voice and force for change all around the world and whose actions have triggered important conversations.
She won’t be the only one editing this though. Most notable among the list of women that will be joining her on this issue is Nigerian author, Chimamanda Adichie who is a notable feminist, writer and whose “We Should All Be Feminists” speech was featured on one of Beyonce‘s songs.
The cover of the magazine has the likes of actresses Gemma Chan, Laverne Cox, Jane Fonda, Salma Hayek, Jamil and Yara Shahidi along with New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, Royal Ballet principal dancer Francesca Hayward, model and maternal health advocate Christy Turlington, and more.
Speaking about editing the magazine, Meghan said on Instagram that: “Guest editing the September issue of British Vogue has been rewarding, educational and inspiring. To deep dive into this process, working quietly behind the scenes for so many months, I am happy to now be able to share what we have created.”
Included in the issue is an interview she did with former First Lady of the US, Michelle Obama and Dr. Jane Goodall and a lot of people are waiting for the issue to come so they can delve into the wealth of content that can be found in it.
