Kanye West And Bon Iver feature on Francis and the Lights‘ new song, “Take Me To The Light“.
Francis and the Lights has released a new song, Take Me To The Light and it features American rapper, Kanye West and American indie folk band, Bon Iver. The new song is produced by Francis, Kanye West, BJ Borton, Benny Blanco, Cashmere Car, Jeff Bhasker, and Noah Goldstein. The new song also features contributions from Pulitzer prize winner, Caroline Shaw.
This isn’t the first time Francis and the Lights is collaborating with West and Bon Iver. The band previously collaborated with the two acts on the 2016 Farewell, Starlite song, Friends.
Kanye West is set to release his new album, Jesus Is King on Sept. 27. The upcoming album reportedly took 15 years to make. The album is likely to contain religious songs because of the titles, Baptized, God Is, Sweet Jesus, Sunday, and Garden. The upcoming album was first announced by West‘s wife, Kim Kardashian after she posted the title of the album and its release date to her Instagram. Kim also shared the rapper’s previously scheduled album, Yandhi’s new release date to be November 23.
Indie folk band Bon Iver dropped their fourth album, i,i last month on the 9th and was released physically on the 30th. Before the album was released, it was preceded by the singles, Hey Ma and U (Man Like). The album released acclaim and debuted on the Billboard 200 at no. 26.
Francis and the Lights released their debut album back in 2016.
