American rapper and actor, Jeezy is featured on the cover of a special edition of OZONE magazine this month.
OZONE Magazine, known to be a staple in covering Hip-Hop especially that from the South, has been dormant since 2010. But Jeezy is giving life to the publication again in promotion of his new album TM104: Legend Of The Snowman. The limited-edition 48-page magazine features an exclusive interview the Atlanta rapper including some classic Jeezy moments from the archives of OZONE.
Revealing why the 41-year-old rapper and actor was chosen for the reintroduction of the full-colour magazine, OZONE’s founder and editor-in-chief, Julia Beverly said Jeezy is always willing to put in the work, and he is an authentic artist.
“I can’t think of anyone better than Jeezy to resurrect OZONE. Both of our brands represent authenticity, that 100% real hustle. He’s always been an artist who’s willing to put in the work, and clearly, it’s paid off with his career longevity.” – Beverly explained.
Jeezy started his music career in 2001 as Lil J with the release of Thuggin’ Under the Influence (T.U.I.). He has released ten studio albums in total, alongside several successful singles, including Put On featuring Kanye West, Soul Survivor featuring Akon, I Luv It, and Go Getta featuring R. Kelly.
Aside his own singles, Jeezy also has a track record of featuring on several hip hop and R&B hit singles, including “Love in This Club” by Usher, “Hard” by Rihanna, “I’m So Paid” by Akon, and “Say I” by Christina Milian.
The Jeezy edition of OZONE will include a digital copy of his new album.
