The supposed original version of Tha Carter V by Lil Wayne circulates online.
It’s no recent news, the story behind Lil Wayne‘s Tha Carter V album. After working on the album in 2011, issues with Birdman and Cash Money caused a delay in the release of the album which took many years to be resolved. After the issues were resolved, the rapper had to release the much anticipated album but obviously not in the way it was before.
Of course, new songs had to be added to suit the kind of music presently in circulation. Tunechi rerecorded some of the songs and added new ones to the project before it could be released. Of course, it was a huge success. This means, Wizzy has a line up of songs laying around and obviously the unreleased album the way it originally was.
Right now, a new Tha Carter V album, said to be the original has surfaced online. The record contains a total of twenty tracks including some unleased songs, Life Of Mr. Carter, Scottie Pippen. Some of the unreleased songs alsoinclude collaborations with other artists like Just Chill with Justin Bieber, No Brainer with Flow and Mute with Big Sean. Some other songs on the original album appeared on the released version but in a rerecorded form like Open Safe and Mona Lisa ft. Kendrick Lamar. Mona Lisa is 6 minutes long with a different instrumental and auto-tune.
Fans of the rapper have shared their excitement about the drop online. One fan wrote;
