American rapper, Boosie Badazz is facing two felony charges after getting caught with a small amount of weed back in April, in Coweta County.
Boosie has been charged by the local district attorney, with one count of possessing less than an ounce of marijuana and another count for possession of a controlled substance.
The rapper was arrested in April during a traffic stop in Newnan, Georgia after he was allegedly swerving lanes and nearly hit another car. He was arrested by Cops, who found weed on him, together with a handgun and more than $20,000 cash in his car. And for unknown reasons, he was not charged for the gun possession, but for possessing the drug.
In addition, another passenger identified as Antonio Allen, claimed to be the rapper’s bodyguard is also facing similar charges. The two men are facing up to one year in prison if convicted.

The Louisiana rapper was handed a two-year sentence in 2009 when pot and a gun was also found in his car. The sentence was doubled to four years after he was found to have violated his probation while awaiting sentencing.
Badazz was also indicted on federal charges in2010, for first-degree murder while being charged for possession and intent to distribute narcotics, as well as two counts of “conspiracy to introduce contraband into a penal institution.” He was found not guilty of murder, but was sentenced to eight years after pleading guilty to the drug charges. He was released in jail on March 2014, remaining on parole up until 2018.
